AI Whiteboard

An AI whiteboard that
sees the whole board.

Brainstorm, diagram and generate on an infinite canvas — with an AI agent that perceives everything on the board and draws on it directly, narrating its reasoning. Not a sidebar chatbot.

The basics

What is an AI whiteboard?

An AI whiteboard is an infinite, collaborative canvas with an AI agent built into it — so the same surface you use to brainstorm and diagram is one the AI can read and draw on.

The shift is participation. Most whiteboard AI lives in a sidebar and answers prompts with no real awareness of your board. Clearly's agent perceives the entire canvas — every shape, connector, frame and note, plus where you're looking and what's selected — then acts on it in place: drawing diagrams, generating art, arranging elements, and telling you what it's doing as it goes.

Even the canvas chrome is part of what it can drive, so "tidy this up" or "turn these notes into a flow" lands as real, editable objects on the board — not a wall of text in a chat panel.

How it works

From a sentence to a board, together

Step
01

Describe what you want

Type it in plain language — "map our onboarding flow", "lay out a 2x2 of these ideas", or "draw a mascot for this concept".

Step
02

The AI reads the board + plans

It perceives the whole canvas — existing shapes, your viewport, your selection — and narrates the change it intends to make.

Step
03

It draws on the canvas

The agent generates diagrams, art and layout directly on the board as real, editable objects — not a screenshot, not sticky-note text.

Step
04

You edit together

Move, restyle and extend what it made, ask for the next step, and keep iterating side by side in real time.

What it does

A whiteboard with an agent on it

Infinite canvas

Pan and zoom across an endless surface. Sketch, drop shapes, frame sections and connect ideas with no edge to bump into.

An agent that sees the board

The AI reads a live snapshot of everything on the canvas — objects, positions, text, your viewport and selection — so its work is grounded in what's actually there.

Generate diagrams + art in place

Describe a flow, system or mind map and it lays out editable shapes and connectors. Ask for an illustration and it generates vector art onto the same board.

Real-time collaboration

Multiplayer by default — teammates work live on one board, and the agent works alongside everyone, narrating as it goes.

Export to PNG / SVG / PDF

Take any board or selection out as a raster image, editable vector, or a document to share and print.

Narrated reasoning

The agent says what it's about to do and why before it touches the board — so you stay in control and can redirect mid-step.

Who it's for

Made for thinking out loud

Product teams

Map flows, sketch features and turn messy notes into clean diagrams the whole team can build from.

Designers

Block out layouts and concepts, then have the agent generate vector art and arrange it on the same canvas.

Founders

Think through strategy, draw the model, and get a shareable diagram out the other side — fast.

Consultants

Co-create frameworks live with clients, then export a polished board as PNG, SVG or PDF.

Educators

Build visual explanations and diagrams in real time, with the AI filling in structure as you teach.

Anyone brainstorming

Start with a blank board and a sentence — the agent helps you shape it into something you can use.

FAQ

AI whiteboard, answered

01What is an AI whiteboard?+
An AI whiteboard is an infinite, collaborative canvas with an AI agent built into it — so you can brainstorm, sketch and diagram while the AI reads the board, plans a change, and draws or generates directly on the canvas. The difference from a normal whiteboard is that the AI participates: it sees what is already there and adds to it, instead of just answering questions in a side panel.
02How is it different from Miro AI or FigJam AI?+
Most whiteboard AI lives in a sidebar: you type a prompt, it returns text or a few sticky notes, and it has little awareness of the rest of your board. Clearly's agent perceives the entire canvas — every shape, frame, connector and note, plus where you are looking and what is selected — then acts on it in place: drawing diagrams, generating art, and arranging elements while narrating its reasoning. It is a collaborator on the board, not a chatbot bolted onto a static surface.
03Can the AI actually see what I have drawn?+
Yes. The agent reads a structured snapshot of the live board — the objects on it, their positions and text, your viewport and your current selection — so its suggestions and edits are grounded in what is already there. Ask it to "clean up this diagram" or "continue the flow from the selected box" and it works from the real board, not a blank prompt.
04Can it generate diagrams from a description?+
Yes. Describe a flow, system, org chart or mind map in plain language and the agent lays it out on the canvas as real, editable shapes and connectors you can rearrange, restyle and extend. It can also generate vector art and illustrations in place, so concepts and visuals live on the same board.
05Is it collaborative?+
Yes. The canvas is real-time and multiplayer — teammates see each other live, and the AI agent works alongside everyone on the same board, narrating what it is doing as it goes.
06Is it free to start?+
Yes. You can open the whiteboard and start brainstorming, diagramming and generating for free. Paid plans add more agent usage, more agents, and commercial export when you need them.
